Similar to the situation in the UK, it's been announced that the Apple iPhone will soon be offered by two new operators in Canada.

This move ends Rogers' exclusive on the handset, and is no doubt music to the ears of Canadian consumers angered by Rogers' high pricing when the device debuted.

Bell Canada and Telus have officially announced that the iPhone will be coming to their networks in November, echoing how things stand in the UK where O2's exclusive is due to end soon with first Orange, then Vodafone, due to offer Apple's mobile.

In Canada - as in the UK - neither company has yet released details on pricing.
