Sony's rolling "Rolly" MP3 device revealed in video

Are you ready to disco?

Sony's rolling

1 September 2007 8:29 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Sony's "Rolly" MP3 player has been revealed in a YouTube video by the chaps at Engadget and it looks bonkers.

As we reported way back when the device was initially leaked, it does have built-in speakers, it really is egg-shaped and it really does move.

Apart from that functions, features and even what it is exactly are unclear.

Two protruding rings apppear to provide the "locomotion" while each end of the egg spins freely of both the rings and that Sony branded body.

If that sounds a bit mad, that's 'cos it is. Hit the link to the vid to check it out for yourself.....
