HP launched their new Envy range, which pitches to the luxury end of the market, on Wednesday. We got our hands on the new Envy 13 at an HP event in the UK.
With looks that will make Apple do a double-take, the Envy 13 oozes style and really punches into territory dominated by Sony's Vaio and Dell's Adamo models.
The build quality is astonishing and starting at £1499 in the UK, the price is something to be considered as well.
You'll also get an additional "slice" battery allowing you to extend the life of your Envy 13 from the standard 7 hours to over 16.
It's remarkably similar in design to the unibody MacBook, but doesn't come with an optical drive built-in. An external drive will be provided for UK customers. That said however, in a quick side-by-side, it does have a smaller footprint than the 13-inch MacBook.
Yours for a modest £1499, there will be various specs to choose from too. It comes with Windows 7, so will be available from 22 October.
