IFA 2007: Loc8tor gets new Lite version - EXCLUSIVE

Find stuff like lost cats or your keys

The company behind the Loc8tor, an electronic tagging system that allows you to find stuff, has announced a new "lite" version of its product at IFA 2007 in Berlin, Germany.

Called the Loc8tor Lite, the new credit card sized version will come in a more stylish gloss black, offer the ability to tag up to four devices, pets, children or anything you need tagging and come with two tags in the box.

However the reduction in size has meant some cutbacks of the features found in the bigger Loc8tor.

The new model won't feature alerts or screen and users will only be able to tag up to four devices rather than 24.

Still, at £40, the new model will be in the shops in November so you track those presents under the Christmas tree.
