Motorola has on Thursday announced what it hopes will be a lifeline in turning its fortunes around.

Called Motoblur, the new interface will run on top of Google Android operating system all be your portal to your social life allowing you to update social networking sites and check on what your friends are up to.

Motoblur, as it is called will first appear on a new handset called the Motoroal Cliq in the US and Motorola Dext in the UK. It will sport a touchscreen display, slide out qwerty keyboard, however Motorola has promises "multiple to 10s of products in the coming months.
