Nintendo Wii Internet now free
It used to cost you 500 credits, now Wii Internet is free following a move by Nintendo to try and get more of its gamers online and surfing the web.
The Wii Internet Channel is powered by Opera and will offer full internet browsing, including flash support, for you to surf the internet via the Wii Remote.
Customers annoyed for having paid out for the browser in the past, needn't be. Nintendo has, in a rather unusual move said that customers who have already spent 500 Wii Points on the Wii Internet Channel will get a NES title from Virtual Console worth 500 Wii Points in October.
