Designer Vadim Kibardin has invented a rather impressive digital clock design, comprised of just four OLED digits. Stick it on your wall, and it'll tell the time in bold black digits.

But what happens when the winter draws in, night falls and you still want to know what time it is? That's the clever bit. An in-built light sensor switches the digits from black to white, so you can still how long it is 'til The Apprentice starts.

Each digit is powered by a lithium-ion battery, so you'll have to take them down periodically to charge them. The controls are touch sensitive. The designer is currently looking for a manufacturer, so if you happen to be one and you want to make his dreams come true, then give him a shout at his website.
