Bloglines gets new look in Beta update

New graphical enhancements and features added

Bloglines is inviting users of its RSS feed service to test out its new beta look ahead of a launch later in the year.

The re-design, the first since its acquisition by Ask.com last year, enhances the graphical look of the service, as well as, adding new features such as a three-pane view allowing users to see the story in full and the list of stories from the feed.

Posting the invite on the company's news pages Bloglines said:

"Blogliners we're proud to introduce a beta of our latest redesign of Bloglines."

"Our About Beta overview outlines the key features a personalizable home page, 3 reading-views and drag-and-drop foldering in an Ajax interface."

"We're inviting you, the Bloglines fans, to the new Bloglines beta in the redesign cycle to provide us feedback. We look forward meeting you in the forums or at conferences to brainstorm on ways to make Bloglines an even better feed reader."

Unfortunatley, the current Beta is only available for Firefox and IE7 browsers. However those on older browsers will still be able to view their Blogline feeds in the old format if they aren't wanting to transfer to the new design as yet.
