Canon today announced two new models to it's PowerShot range; the A510 and A520. The two new models will offer 3.2 and 4 megapixels respectively as well as offering a 4x optical zoom as well as a 1.8in LCD display on the rear of the camera.

Both entry-level models aimed squarely at the begginner market will also offer 20 shooting modes, including 8 special scene modes and an underwater mode for use with Canon's waterproof housing. The cameras will also feature a 9-point AiAF, ability to capture 3 minutes of movie clips and PictBridge support for direct printing to a printer without a computer.

Both models will be available by the end of the month, however Canon is yet to confirm a price.
