Canon has introduced SELPHY CP790 and SELPHY CP780 photo printers that it says make it easy for consumers to get lab-quality prints at home.
The SELPHY CP790 gets a 3-inch LCD display and what's claimed to be easy set up and use with its automatic image correction functionality that gets rid of red-eye and optimises skin tone.
The CP970 boasts 47-second prints, the ability to print credit card-sized and mini size images. Specs-wise, there's a built-in PictBridge port and memory card slots as well as the option to pay extra for a Bluetooth adapter.
With an integrated carrying handle, storage basket and optional battery pack, the SELPHY CP790 also offers users PC-free portability.
The SELPHY CP780 replaces the SELPHY CP760, with the claim of faster print speeds. The CP760 offers a 2.5-inch display, three memory card slots, image correction, different size prints and also works with optional Bluetooth adapter and battery pack.
Available in pink, blue, silver or white, the SELPHY CP780 is available from mid June 2009 priced at £129.00 or 149.00 euros while the SELPHY CP790 will be available from July 2009 priced at £169.00 or 189.00 euros.
