Google has made early builds of Chrome for Mac and Linux available on its Chromium blog. However, it's warned that they're aimed at developers, "incomplete" and "unpredictable".

So much so that Google has issued a warning, all in caps, saying "DON'T DOWNLOAD THEM!", unless you're a developer or take pleasure in software that frequently crashes.

In terms of features, most of the browser is complete, but flash video, privacy settings and printing facilities aren't present. The company has promised that it's working on getting a beta release available, but it's not ready yet.

We'll keep you posted.
