Porsche P251 mobile phone comes to UK

Design department ditches cars and radios for mobile phones

Taking a break from designing DAB radios or kitchenware, the designers over at Porsche Design has created a mobile phone with French mobile phone manufacturer Sagem.

Titled the rather catchy P251, the mobile phone, which will be launched in the UK in November will feature an MP3 player, 3.2 megapixel camera and 3G connectivity.

The phone will also boast a touch screen, finger print recognition and come with the company's concierge service that means you'll deal with a member of the Porsche team rather than Carphone Warehouse when it all goes wrong.

Other features, apart from the rather robust Siemens like design include a Bluetooth headset and remote control in the box.

However the tight of budget beware. Porsche tell us that the phone is likely to cost £800 when it arrives in the UK later this year.
