Logitech has just announced its Flight System G940 at E3. It's the company's first force-feedback flight sim controller device, apparently inspired by military and commercial planes and helicopters.
The three-component Logitech Flight System G940 features a force feedback joystick, dual throttle and rudder pedals. It has 250 programmable button options, and a "Hands On Throttle-and-Stick" design that means you can "access critical aircraft systems" without taking your hands off the controls.
It's simple to set up as the pedals and throttle plug into the joystick, and the joystick plugs into a USB port. There's also hard-mounting points, so you could screw this unit onto your table if you so desired.
The Flight System G940 is compatible with most modern flight sims, including Microsoft Flight Simulator X, IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 and Lock On: Modern Air Combat X-Plane 9.
It'll be available in September, and cost $300. No UK pricing yet we're afraid, but it will be on sale here.
