4GB iPhone leaked by Fido

Supposed leaked documents from Canadian mobile phone operator Fido appear to show a 4GB iPhone 3G on offer for $99.

The "roadmap" docs, that are thought to show the operator's handset line up for the coming year sent to US blog Boy Genius Report, show the 4GB iPhone with quad-band EDGE, tri-band HSDPA and a 2-megapixel camera.

In addition, iChat video calling is listed as a feature which would mean the device gets the much rumoured front facing camera.

When the original iPhone launched in June 2007, Apple offered both an 8GB and 4GB model, but due to low levels of sales, the company dropped the 4GB version in September of that year.

In addition to the Fido leak, Engadget reports from a "trusted source" that new iPhones in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities have been approved by the the PCS Type Review Certification Board, the standards body responsible for certifying handsets.
