A day before the new Walkman makes it into the shops in the UK, Pocket-lint was led by Sony into a disused tube station to grab a gander at the new Walkman first announced at CES.

The new model will come in either a 16GB or 32GB offering with a 3-inch OLED display making it "perfect" for watching content on the train.

Wi-Fi will bring with it the ability to surf the web and watch YouTube videos, however as some of the pictures show the glossy screen is prone to picking up smudges and reflections.

Priced at £209 and £279 respectively, Sony is hoping the new music box will be a hit with commuters keen to zone out with the noise cancelling feature built in.
