Last.fm announces improved radio
A "new and improved" version of Last.fm radio on the web has been announced for those in the UK, US and Germany, or those in other countries who pay to subscribe to the service.
The listening page has been redesigned, and gone visual, with an "expanded metadata area" at its centre that showcases a "rich catalogue" of images uploaded by the Last.fm community.
"Combo" stations have been introduced that lets listeners pick up to three artists, or up to three tags, and mix them together in a combination of their choosing.
Users will find that their "recent stations" is now a longer stored list, while stations can be removed from the list, and there's now a "scrobble toggle" so that Last.fm says, "you can play Britney Spears' similar artists in comfort and privacy".
