Google makes search improvements
Google has made some changes to its search service that it says will help guide users "more effectively" to the info they need.
The first change concerns an "expanded list of useful related searches" while the second is the addition of longer search result descriptions.
Thanks to new tech, Google's search engine now claims to better understand associations and concepts related to your search.
The example Google gives is as follow: "If you search for 'principles of physics', our algorithms understand that 'angular momentum', 'special relativity', 'big bang' and 'quantum mechanic' are related terms that could help you find what you need".
The second improvement, for search queries of more than three words, sees a longer "snippet" of text shown from the relevant site and highlights the words from the search query in bold.
