17 August 2007 0:38 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Virgin Mobile USA, has signed up its first LG handset in the US in the guise of the LG Aloha.

Not to be confused with the Hawaiian word for hello, the $35 clamshell design will come with a metallic finish, a 65K colour screen and the capabilities to hold up to 199 contracts.

Bored phone users can play ZooZoo Club and Battle Reversi.

The phone offers up to 180 minutes of talk time and 150 hours of standby time from a single charge.

The Aloha will be appearing on shelves later this year. No word on a UK launch.

We will keep you posted.
