The Olympus Micro Four Thirds prototype model we first caught a peek of at Photokina last year has cropped up once again at PMA, and this time with a ship date.

A notice next to the non-working concept model informs us that it will in fact be "launching this summer"

Panasonic, Olympus' partner in developing the Micro Four Thirds standard, announced yesterday that it would be introducing its second Micro Four Thirds camera - the DMC-GH1 - into the market in the summer as well.

We know little else of the forthcoming Olympus camera, but we'll be sure to bring you specs, availability and pricing information as soon as Olympus let us in on the details.

Until then, have a look at the gallery and videos of the prototype we got at Photokina in September.
