National Express to offer free Wi-Fi on London to Scotland trains
Free for everyone, not just first class

16 August 2007 16:30 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott
The National Express Group has recently won the franchise to operate the London-to-Scotland east coast mainline rail route.
Why should you care? Because free Wi-Fi on the trains is part of the deal.
Although ticket prices will rise above inflation during the 7-year contract, journey times will be shorter and the Wi-Fi - previously only free in first class will now be free for oiks in the back too.
Only hope you manage to get a seat to fully take advantage of the service...
