Medion has moved itself into the gaming sector, with the launch of the Erazer X3711 D PC.
The PC crams Intel’s latest Core i7 processor technology, an NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT graphics card, 6GB DDR-3-SDRAM memory and a huge 1000GB hard drive in its shell, specs that further prove its position as a gaming specialist machine.
The combination of the Core i7 processor and the NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT graphics card promises high definition and speedy gaming.
Professional and hardcore gamers will benefit from the extra power the processor and chipset provide, as they improve the frames per second rate in games, meaning a smoother, more accurate performance is possible.
With an integrated DDR3-SDRAM memory controller and 8MB smart cache, you should be able to run most games and applications easily, and new features such as "Turbo Boost" and "Intel Hyper-Threading" technology will also help boost performance and speed while running multiple applications.
Finally, the Erazer has the ability to hook up an external memory device, as well as connect wirelessly to an HDDrive2go ultra hard drive thanks to a SATA docking port.
The Medion Erazer X7311 D will come in a black gloss casing with blue backlit icons, PS/2 keyboard and optical mouse. It is available now for £899 from Medion's website.
