Black and Decker launches Automotive tools range

Black & Decker has launched of new range of Automotive products.

The world's largest tool co's new offerings are available from Argos and includes some consumer-friendly motoring devices.

The the new SIMPLE START battery booster gives flat batteries the instant boost they need to restart in minutes, without the need of jump cables or even stepping outside the car.

The SIMPLE START battery booster, small enough to fit into a glove box, plugs in to the car's cigarette lighter, and works in 15 minutes.

If you need more than a boost, then the BDV012 Jump Starter can boost a flat car battery in seconds.

No need for another car, all you need to do is carefully apply the clamps, switch on the Jump Starter, turn on the ignition and crank the engine.

The BDV012 provides 450 instant starting Amps that can start any 12v vehicle from cars to tractors.

For the long term maintenance of batteries Black & Decker has introduced a range of battery chargers.

The BDV1084 and BDV1085 battery chargers work two to three times faster than conventional models for quicker engine starts - even in very hot or cold temperatures allowing for seasonal changes.

For more relaxing situations the Black & Decker Travel Cooler, Warmer and Freezer can cool food and drink to -7°C or warm it to 48°C, depending on your needs.

The model has a nine litre capacity and is fitted with a separate freezer compartment and ice tray.

There are also dual drinks can holders and a separate zippered pouch in which to store accessories such as knives and forks.

The Travel Cooler is compact so it will fit on a car seat or in a foot well for easy access, and has a carry strap.

There are also lighting products in the range. The LIGHT BAR light is a cordless, ultra bright LED bar which is designed for use when working on the car, outdoors, or in the home.

It is fitted with a swivel hanging hook which attaches easily to car bonnets, lighting up hard to reach places.
