Join Dell's Mr Perky as he goes over the features of Dell's new portable, inkless printer, the Wasabi PZ310.

Apparently it gets "major cool points" for its design, ease of use and mobility.

Weighing in at 7 ounces with 4.8 x 2.8 x 0.9 inch dimensions, the Wasabi uses an inkless technology called "ZINK" that contains the inky bits in its special sticky back paper.

The Wasabi can print 2 x 3 inch borderless photos in less than a minute from Bluetooth sources, or PictBridge-enabled devices.

In the States the printer that was first announced at CES in Las Vegas will be available in pink, black and blue and cost $149, currently on an introductory special offer for $99.

It seems this video is as close as UK residents will get to the Wasabi for a while, Dell has told Pocket-lint:

"At present Wasabi is not available in Europe at this time, but we're always evaluating options".
