As if we couldn't already be more envious of our American cousins getting the new'n'improved Kindle 2 dropped right on their doorstep, M-Edge is rubbing salt into the wound with this lovely range of jackets.
Hot off the mark, the accessories maker has announced a range of covers for the e-book reader, all purpose built for the new, slimmer Kindle mark 2.
They are offering the "Executive Jacket" and the new "Platform Jacket", both available in genuine and synthetic leather, as well as a new e-Luminator booklight for the device.
The Executive Jackets (pictured) are available in a veritable rainbow of colours and are priced from $29.99 to $44.99, available from Amazon.com and direct from the end of Feb.
The Kindle 2 is only available in white - despite Stephen King appearing at the device's launch with a special pink version - so the cases will likely be a welcome way to brighten up and personalise the new gadget.
Amazon has told Pocket-lint that the company will bring the Kindle to the UK, but has no immediate plans to do so...
