Flexible mobile phone that works like a packet of softmints

The trouble with today's mobile phones is that when you put them in your pocket, they just don't sit comfortably with the cut of your suit.

One concept designed by the same guy behind the nano mobile phone, Roman Kriheli, aims to stop this simply by creating a flexible phone.

Encased in a flexible plastic housing, a soft polymer insert is located between the microchip module and the casing. This allows the phone to be dropped, bent, sat on and tossed around.

A 2.75-inch flexible display and the keys are located on the surface.

According to the designer, the display itself looks like paper, but the ink incorporated in it can change its position when affected by electric signals. This process called "electrowetting" is so quick that you can even display video.

And before you say make believe, supposedly all the technology is just around the corner.
