A piece of software has been released that strips copy protection from iPhone applications, meaning they can be distributed and shared.

Described as "instantaneous app-cracking", the application, "Crackulous" is said to be the easiest solution yet for pirating apps to be used, unpaid, on other "jailbroken" devices.

Developed on the Hackulous forums, Crackulous is being damned as "piracy", and said to be a real danger to developers who make money from selling their applications via Apple's App Store.

As with the unlocked iPhone saga, described as like a "cat and mouse" fight, Apple will no doubt respond to try and put a stop to this, but has yet to do so.
