Eidos has released ten new screenshots from its new Batman game, Arkham Asylum, due to be released in 2009.
Being developed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, players will take on the role of Batman delivering The Joker to the Arkham Asylum.
As you might imagine, it's not quite that simple. The imprisoned super-villains have set a trap for you that you'll have to pow, thwack and wallop your way out of.
The script has been penned by Emmy Award-winning Batman writer Paul Dini, and is to feature the voices of some Batman veterans as well.
Kevin Conroy, who was the voice of Batman for over 15 years in the animated films and TV series, is to reprise his role as the caped crusader, while Mark Hamill, another Batman old boy, will be the voice of The Joker.
The game is set for release in the summer of 2009. We like the look of the screen - we'll keep you updated with any other news.
