After the release of Microsoft's "You're in the Movies" in the US last week, Microsoft is gearing up for the release of the game in the UK on 28 November.
Developed by Codemasters and Zoë Mode, the game uses the Xbox Live Vision Camera to transport players into the world of cinema. Simply choose a script and genre, act it out while being recorded, and then watch back the no doubt hilarious results.
Up to four players can compete in a series of minigames that put the spotlight on your acting talents. Players’ minigame actions are captured and placed into short films that can be e-mailed and uploaded to social networking sites. You can even edit them beforehand, such as changing the music and adding voice-overs.
"You’re in the Movies gets you off the couch and into a rich, interactive movie experience for movie lovers everywhere, exclusively for Xbox 360," said John Schappert, corporate vice president of LIVE, software and services for the interactive entertainment business.
You're in the Movies is available for pre-order now, and RRPs for £44.99, although some online retailers are selling it for slightly less. The game comes with the Xbox Live Vision Camera so you'll have everything to get yourself started.
