Two installments of best-loved action and adventures series' Mega Man and Phantasy Star form this week's Virtual Console update.
If you've enjoyed the recently released Mega Man 9, why not go way back to Mega Man 3 and master that as well?
In the year 200X, a new set of eight Robot Masters has escaped to wreak havoc on the world - and as you can imagine, only Mega Man can save the day. With a new slide move to your arsenal and an new ally in the form of robotic canine companion Rush, make your way through the levels and put those pesky Robot Masters in their place.
Mega Man 3 costs 500 Wii Points and joins Mega Man 1 and 2 already on Virtual Console, and of course Mega Man 9 on WiiWare.
Second up is Phantasy Star IV, which for those of you unfamiliar with roman numerals, is the fourth instalment of Sega's Phantasy Star series originally developed for the Mega Drive.
As Chaz Ashley, a rookie hunter straight out of training, you take on the role of helping to exterminate the strange bio-creatures that are plaguing your planet, Motavia.
You'll be supported by veteran hunter Alys Brangwin and have the help of a wide case of supporting characters in your quest.
The RPG will set you back 800 Wii Points, and you can also catch up with previous titles in this series too, with Phantasy Star 2 and 3 also on Virtual Console.
