Now LittleBigPlanet has been released on the PS3 and is keeping both gamers and critics happy, rumours have re-emerged about a portable version of Sony's LittleBigPlanet being developed for the PSP.
The game has been long-rumoured for an outing on Sony's handheld console, and its success on the PS3 only seems to fan the flames for a reason why it should make the move.
The brains behind the game, Media Molecule, have previously admitted that the idea for a PSP version had been discussed with Sony, however a gaming magazine in the US is now stating if it has been confirmed.
Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine wrote: "The LittleBigPlanet universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version. Q-Mann hears it's fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LiitleBigPlanet experience."
Strangely, Kotaku has reported that Media Molecule will not be involved in the project, and are instead working on new ideas which could possibly include an online RPG.
Interesting. Why would MM leave someone else to deal with their baby? Especially when Mark Healy from the company seemed so enthusiastic about a PSP version before. We'll keep you in the loop with anything we hear.
