Tetris Party stacks up in the WiiWare update

This week's WiiWare update gives you three new games to get your teeth into.

First is Tetris Party, an updated version of the old favourite featuring never-before-seen single-player and multiplayer variations of Tetris, including Field Climber, Stage Racer, Shadow, and Wii Balance Board-enabled modes. You can even take Tetris online, play against up to five friends at a time and log your performance in the global ranking system to see how you stack up against other players (no pun intended). You can get your hands on this for 1200 Wii points.

Second up is The Incredible Maze that requires you to either tilt your Wii Remote or use the Wii Balance Board to control a ball around different mazes. With obstacles and traps around every corner, you'll need a steady hand and a keen eye to make sure your ball doesn't get into any trouble. This will set you back 500 Wii points.

Finally, if you're not that keen on puzzle games, Home Sweet Home allows you to explore your creative side. You are given the challenge to decorate a room as an interior designer. You choose the furniture, patterns, and colours to make the room your own, all for 1000 Wii points.

Also available this week, is new downloadable content for Mega Man 9 with Hard Mode and Expert Mode introduced (the latter of which triples the default difficulty of the game), as well as a special time attack stage with an all new level and Robot Master Boss called "Fake Man". This DLC will cost you 100 Wii points each, so 300 Wii points for the lot if you can't decide.

It's all available now so get onto WiiWare if any of it takes your fancy.
