GOG.com launches public beta

GOG.come has launched its public beta, and is offering all your favourite PC games from back in the day.

The website, which stands for "Good Old Games", features favouritges such as Earthworm Jim, Freespace and Gothic, not to mention the Fallout games. They're all DRM-free, so once you download it, it's yours to re- download and install on as many PCs as you can get through.

All games work on Vista and XP, and are generally around the $5.99 mark, which is around £3.80.

GOG.com even boasts it has a "classy" community you can become a part of, to discuss and review all the games you download.
