New Impreza set for Frankfurt debut

Subaru shows off stunning rally concept, too

Subaru will debut its all new Impreza at September’s Frankfurt International Motor Show.

As well as the 15. and 2.0 five-door hatch, the World Rally Car concept Impreza, the facelifted Tribeca SUV, the new Justy supermini and the R1e electric car will be shown, along with the world’s first horizontally-opposed turbo-diesel engine.

The new Impreza boasts substantially increased passenger space thanks to a new platform with new multi-link, double-wishbone rear suspension. The latest Tribeca gets a refreshed front and rear, bigger 3.6-litre engine and improved five-speed automatic gearbox. Other improvements include easier access to the optional third row of seats in the seven-seat versions.

The Justy 1.0 litre five-door supermini will be one of the greensst cars on the market, and is supplied for sale in Europe Daihatsu.
