Activision has announced that Call of Duty fans will be able to get a sneak peek at the latest installation in the franchise ahead of its release, thanks to multiplayer betas due out in October.
The betas, available for Xbox 360 and via separate download for PC, will give gamers an early chance to practice their tactics for Call of Duty: World at War. Activision has said that gamers will experience the game's new squad system, as well as the "fan favourite" perks and kill streaks.
"We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community," says Mark Lamia, Treyarch studio head. "The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can't wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch."
The full game is set for release on the 14th November, but those looking for more information on the betas should head over to the Call of Duty website where full information will be posted about how you can get involved.
