Vespa's pint-sized Peg Perego

The iconic Mod motor available as a kiddie scooter

How cool is this for kids? It's a pint-sized electric Vespa.

You little one will be the classiest kid on the block whizzing round the neighbourhood on one of these shiny red efforts.

The little blighters will be able to make some noise too as the Peg Pegero comes complete with electronic engine sounds and a horn as well as a flashing hazard light.

Designed for kiddies aged between 2- and 5-years-old this gets its power from a rechargeable 6-volt battery.

There's one forward speed and just one pedal for the accelerator and brake so it should be easy to ride, but this will only really work on flat, smooth surfaces, so no off-roading for little Johnie.

It's for sale on the Italian site Vespa Shopping, which also has some pretty nifty Vespa-themed accessories for growed ups too - link below.
