Pure digital hi-def output will soon not be just confined to the 360 Elite as Microsoft has now confirmed that the Premium version of its next-gen console will feature HDMI ports. The news comes after rumours on a blogger's site we reported on earlier where speculation also suggested that the addition would be made to the core model but this is not the case.
In a statement to the press, Microsoft said, "We are offering an HDMI port for Xbox 360 simply as another choice in Xbox 360 owners' games and entertainment experience".
"Retailers are gradually introducing HDMI-enabled Xbox 360s into the channel to meet demand."
