Sennheiser launches CX 300 earphones with 2.5mm plug

Perfect partner for phones and PDAs

Most headphones have a 3.5mm plug while a lot of mobile phones have a 2.5mm socket, meaning that people have to use the earphones supplied with the phone, which are usually pretty rubbish, or use an adapter.

Sennheiser has put paid to that nonsense with the CX 300s as their right-angled plug will work directly with your phone, PDA or other device with a 2.5mm jack.

With the claim that these are the first quality in-ear headphones to be made available with the 2.5mm part, the CX 300s employ an advanced, miniaturised driver, tailored by Sennheiser for smooth, acoustically correct in-ear operation.

The earphones are supplied with three different sizes of ear adapters for a perfect fit, an asymmetrical cable for optimum wearing comfort and are small and lightweight.

Sennheiser CX 300 2.5mm are £39.99 and come with a two-year warranty.
