Nissan hits the right Note

Lots of red for range expanding hatch

7 August 2007 20:04 GMT / By Jonathan Goddard

Nissan has announced a new addition to the NOTE range.

The Acenta R, priced at £11,840, isn't a hot hatch despite the moniker. It just stands for red, so what you get is a lot of it: red detailing in the upholstery for the seats and door pockets is matched by the paintwork.

For the £500 extra over the standard Acenta the R also comes with 16in alloys and rear privacy glass.

Standard 2008 model equipment now includes body-coloured bumpers, Bluetooth phone operation with steering wheel activated controls, MP3 auxiliary jack socket, air-con with glove box cooler, storage nets, foldaway tables, front and rear electric windows and six airbags.
