Mitsubishi has launched an ultra small palm sized battery powered projector that weights less than 400grams weight but still produce an image 20in with just over a foot projection distance.

The PocketProjector has been designed to be used for gaming, or watching DVDs when you're tight on space and comes with a universal car adapter for truly mobile video on the fly.

The projector can produce a maximum 40in screen SVGA image (800 x 600 pixels) in less than a yard. It will be available initially in the US in July for $700 (£376).
