Apple gets sued over iPhone's touchscreen

Company claims their patent has been pinched

Apple is facing what The Street speculates will no doubt be the first of many lawsuits claiming infringement of patents around the technology in its new iPhone.

SP Technologies of St. Petersburg in Florida is claiming that Apple has pinched their touchscreen technology.

The company wants Apple to pay them a big ole chunk of royalties and has requested an injunction to stop Apple from using their design any more.

They apparently described the alleged patent-pinching as "willful and deliberate" when they filed the complaint.

Their patent, which Apple is supposed to have copied, describes a "method and medium for computer readable keyboard display incapable of user termination".
