Firefox gains Yahoo toolbar support

Yahoo fans will be pleased to hear that the internet search engine has released a beta version of its toolbar for the Firefox brower.
All the standard Yahoo! Toolbar features will be available for the browser include

"We're excited about the release of the Yahoo! Toolbar for Firefox," said Mitchell Baker, president of the Mozilla Foundation. "Firefox has been downloaded more than 23 million times since its launch in November and the Yahoo Toolbar release demonstrates the popularity of the browser and the success of the Mozilla platform. We're very pleased that Yahoo! is supporting browser choice and innovation with this new product."

The Yahoo Toolbar Beta for Mozilla Firefox is available for download at http://toolbar.yahoo.com/firefox.

Yahoo isn't the first company to develop a toolbar for the application. Amazon.com's A9 search tool released one earlier in the year.
