Sony launches three Bravia home theatre systems

Sony has launched three new Bravia home theatre systems in the UK.

The HTP-BD3iS combines the BDP-S350 Blu-ray player with a 5.1 channel surround sound system, the BDV-FS350 also bundles the BDP-S350 but offers 2.1 sound while the RHT-G500 is one of Sony's "invisible" systems.

The BDP-S350 Blu-ray player offers Bonus View functionality, BD-Live, outputs 1080p/24p "True Cinema" picture and upscales existing DVDs.

As well as the S350 Blu-ray player, the HTP-BD3iS offers Sony's HT-IS100 5.1 channel surround sound system which gets Sony's golf-ball sized speakers.

The BDV-FS350 is aimed at the more space conscious and offers two S-Force PRO Front Surround speakers and a 16cm Active Subwoofer.

The RHT-G500 builds the processing, amplification and speakers into a single unit, disguised as a stand able to hold a TV and up to four other components.

The RHT-G500 has a 3.1-channel sound system, with centre, left and right speakers and subwoofer built into the TV stand.
