Logitech has introduced the Comfort Lapdesk for notebooks that claims to provide a stable base and helps protect against laptop heat wherever you're working.
With what's said to be a "thoughtful" design, the lapdesk has a four-layer, heat-shielding build while the bottom-layer's fabric and an air-flow chamber between the lapdesk's base and top are said to minimise heat.
Logitech research has apparently revealed that nearly 60% of people who use a laptop at home use it on the sofa, 36% use a laptop on the bed and 16% while sitting or lying on the floor.
With a cushioned base and non-slip design, the device offers a 12-degree angled riser that positions the notebook to a height that's said to support neck and leg comfort.
The Logitech Comfort Lapdesk for notebooks is expected to be available in Europe in January and in the US in February for around $40.
