In France MSI has unveiled a new product into its Wind range that makes the comical moniker even more amusing.
The "WindBox" is a low-cost, Asus Eee Box rivalling desktop PC - or nettop as these machines are increasingly being labelled - with a fairly unique twist.
The Windbox is designed to be VESA-mounted to the back of your monitor, saving desk space and giving you a kind of DIY all-in-one, presumably for those who don't fancy the Neton.
The PC will boast the Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB or 2GB of RAM, and either 160GB or 250GB hard drive. It will get three USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet, b/g Wi-Fi b/g and will run Windows XP.
Not bad for a device measuring 300mm x 240mm x 65mm and weighing in at approximately 500g.
Journal du Geek reports that it will be available in the first quarter of 2009 for approximately 200 euros, which currently translates to the £165 mark. We'll bring you more when we have it.
