The DigiTimes is reporting that Taiwanese company Wistron NeWeb has "entered design-in development for Wi-Fi phones with Google Talk compatibility".Apparently the manufacturer has already been selling Skype-enabled Wi-Fi handsets (pictured) since late last year.
The logic is that it would not be a stretch for the Google Talk functionality to be slapped in and the phones shipped.
It's one kind of Google phone we suppose. Although we hope that the Google phone proper, when it does appear, will have a bit more about it that a badged bland-o can offer...
