Sky launches 24-7 Football, Sky Sports on your mobile

Sky has announced two new initiatives that promise to bring more sporting action to mobile phones than ever before.
"24-7 Football" is a new on-demand service for mobiles that will show goals as they happen, and highlights after the whistle from every Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League game.
The service will be available to customers of T-Mobile, O2 and 3, with further operators joining before the start of the season, it can be accessed by everyone whether or not they subscribe to Sky TV.
Football fans will be able to enjoy in-game goal clips - goals as live whilst games are being played, from the Barclays Premier league and UEFA Champions League.
Post-match highlights will be available as exclusive downloads from all of the 380 Barclays Premier League games, after the final whistle.
There will be also be "Archive" clips which will show classic goals, highlights and interviews from the Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League throughout the season.
In addition there will be general sport programming including coverage from Sky Sports' Gillette Soccer Saturday and Soccer AM.

Sky has also announced that from 11 August, Sky Mobile TV will expand with the addition of Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3, as live simulcast channels. Sky Sports Xtra will be added in the coming weeks.
These new mobile channels will stream all of Sky Sports' 92 live Barclays Premier League games and live matches from every round of the UEFA Champions League, as well as Coca-Cola Football League, Carling Cup, FA Cup, Euro 2008 Qualifiers, cricket, the European Tour Golf and Guinness Premiership Rugby.
