Mir:ror RFID reading PC peripheral launches
The folk behind the Nabaztag internet bunny thing have launched the Mir:ror, an RFID reader designed for the home.
It connects to a PC (Windows or Mac) via USB and can be programmed to launch selected applications when it detects an object equipped with one of the supplied RFID tags.
Said to be intuitive and easy-to-use (although it seems a long way round just to launch apps) the Mir:ror Pack contains one Mir:ror, one Mirror:skin, three blank Ztamp:s and two Nano:ztags - the last few of which we assume are the tags and labels.
It is available now from retailers who sell the Nabaztag as well as via www.violet.net for £37.
