With the boast "if you can draw it, we can make it", FAO Schwarz (America's answer to Hamleys) and the North American Bear Co have teamed up to offer custom-made monsters.

You have to order your Make-My-Own-Monster Design Kit that includes colored pencils, paper, and a detailed questionnaire.

With this kit you design how the monster looks, but you also create a story about the monster and describe his or her personality.

You then get a 20-inch tall plush monster made from your design including a descriptive hang-tag that tells the story of your monster and names you as the creator.

As you would expect it's not a cheap service at $249, but getting your very own one-of-a-kind monster is not to be sniffed at.
