Orange's UK CEO has admitted that the company is rethinking whether it is going to roll-out its IPTV service in the UK.
The service ce has already been successfully rolled out in a number of countries including France (where it has more than 1.6m subscribers) and Mauritius.
But strong competition from the likes of BT Vision as well as economic uncertainties have forced Orange to reconsider whether now is the right time to bring the service here.
Tom Alexander made the admittal to reporters whilst adding that Orange is going to scale back its fixed-line broadband roll-out.
Alexander said that the company is instead going to focus on "delivering a better quality of service" following on from complaints and criticisms about poor speed and customer service.
