Nokia "Go Play" invite hints heavily towards music download service

Details match story rumours down to date, venue and VIP

We have just received an invitation from Nokia that seems to confirm rumours that they are about to launch a music download service.

"Come and witness the next stage of the evolution of the internet and mobility" is the teaser line providing clues to what might be about to come from the Finnish mobile giants.

"Join us at Nokia: Go Play to see how the latest developments will change the way we all experience and share the things that inspire us" it continues.

And just in case we didn't get that this will indeed be a big deal, we are informed that Nokia's President and CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, will make exclusive announcements.

This must be the standalone Nokia-branded music service we reported on only days ago? The date, the venue, and the details all match the rumoured reports.

Very exciting but perhaps a little daunting for Nokia following the news today that iTunes, who have the music download market practically sewn up, announced their three billionth song sale...
